Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; lithified, gray limestone and lithified, calcareous shale

• "Limestone, medium to dark gray, finely crystalline, beds less than 1 foot to 5 feet thick, interbedded with calcareous shales 1 to 2 feet thick. Crinoidal fragments common in the limestones and shales."
